Sponsor a Teacher in a DEC
Encourage an Indian teacher by helping to provide for his or her needs. Suggested donation is $35 per month or $50 one-time gift. Choose “Education Fund” on the Donate page and put in the comments, “Sponsor a Teacher.”
Orissa DEC Relief Fund
Orissa Christians, largely Dailts, have been heavily persecuted since Christmas of 2007 and again in August 2008. A DFN Dalit Education Center (DEC) was burned down on August 24, 2008. Your donations will help rebuild this school as well as provide relief for Dalits in Orissa. Some have been killed or injured, more than 60 churches burned, and houses destroyed. DFN, through our India partners, is sending relief and rehabilitation teams. Should violence break out in other parts of India, your funds may also be used to provide relief and rehabilitation programs in those areas.
